Talk to a lawyer. Different laws in different states. If no action is taken after the filing, usually nothing happens. They don’t leave cases hanging forever. However, check with the laws in your state.

Yes it can but you have to think about what got you there in the first place. Is it really what you both want or is it what one of you wants. Think about it before you try to stop it.

yes when you go the court say you want to stop it.. tell your lawyer and he will take care of it.

dont know but why someone would want to stop one when someone wants out so bad is beyond me

it’s never final until the judge signs the paper. you have the right to reconcile at any time. if in the event, that the judge does sign, and you still love the person, you are allowed to re-marry them unless you are the same sex.

Yes, however if things have gotten to that point, the relationship was likely done long before. You will never be able to live with the fallout from this, and he will always resent you for it, whether he means to or not.

I doubt the two of you could be happy now.

I strongly suspect you filed to begin with, and I’d ask you to remind yourself why, and then ask yourself if things would have changed had you not made it clear you wanted out. Well making it clear you "made a mistake" will only validate things for him.

And frankly… the two of you will never be able to trust one another again or the vows you made to one another. That’s just my opinion, but I think it’s accurate.

Sure it can be stopped before it’s final. Just talk to your lawyer ASAP. You have to have a good lawyer.

ABSOLUTELY….if both couples mutually agree to change their minds!

I think a 2nd hearing is usually scheduled within so many months…but at the moment, I can’t think of the exact number?
