How can I stop my parents from divorcing?
My parents .. well my step dad and my mom- my real dad and my mom never married.. – havent been getting along lately. They have been fighting for awhile and my step-dad says if it wasnt for my brother and i he would leave.. and divorce. I know they say they won’t.. but im really afraid they might. i cant take it anymore. Is there anything i can do to make them stay together?..

You guys should talk, all the family. Make them talk why thgey want to do the step.

No you can’t MAKE them stay together. But do talk to each one and tell them how you feel. They will respond to you honestly.

Although you cannot prevent your parents from getting a divorce, you can talk to them about your feelings.
Sometimes when adults get mad at each other, they say things they don’t really mean. It could be that your parents are just having a low spot in their relationship, but still really love each other.
However, it is not right for them to stay together just for the sake of you children. As hard as that may be to understand, it is true.
Maybe if you tell them how you feel, they will let you know a little more about what is going on between them (like I said, it could be just a really good fight).

Sadly, you cannot change this problem. You might try to tell them how much this is bothering you though and that you wish they would try to work together on their marriage instead of arguing and using harmful threats. Your stepfathers threats are more harmful than helpful and further fuel the feelings of discontentment for your mom instead of giving her hope.
Just remember, above all else, that you are not the reason for their problems and they both love you and your brother.
