Is the waiting time b/w when a divorce petition is filed and a final decree is issued, stopped?

That is, if the spouses sleep with each other during that time period?

Huh? The waiting time is not determined by who you do or don’t sleep with. It’s determined by the courts. No one has to go to the final decree till they are ready. And who would tell the court that you slept with each other?

No – but it is a pretty stupid thing to sleep with someone you are divorcing, either break it off or get into counseling and reconcile. You can’t have it both ways…

In Missouri, if you sleep with you spouse AFTER filing for a divorce…and the court finds out, the divorce will not be granted as it sees you as reconciling with the spouse.
