I need some confirmation of my feelings or some opinion as to why I should not act the way I intend to.

My wife and I have been married 8 years this year and just recently she lost her wedding ring. Because our marriage is not real solid at the moment she decided to pursue paying off debt with the check from the insurance in lieu of getting a new ring even at a lesser cost. We agreed before a penny was spent that registration for my online classes would be paid out of this check. Well the check is almost spent and there is not enough money for the registration which is next week. Her only comment is that she can’t figure out where the money went other than paying regular bills and paying off one credit. When I made the comment to her about school she gave me the "I don’t know what to tell you" line. My dilemma is this I am getting a substantial bonus for work in the coming weeks and have a checking account for work related expenses since I am in management and I am really nervous about putting the whole check into our checking account after seeing what happened to this most recent check. I would like to put the check into my other account after I subtract money for school and if she wants some money to pay off bills I am willing to negotiate to an extent but not with the entire lump sum. Am I being fair?

well i’m 20 yrs old. i got married younger. my husband and me have been together 1 yr and 10 months. and i told him about a month ago i wasn’t happy anymore. he is 10 yrs older than I am. and I know age can make a difference in a relationship sometimes. it just depends on the person you are with and all. we have talked about it hear and there about how i’m not happy as i was when we first got together and all. But with each day we grow farth and part and avoid the issue. and my husband is like a good guy he treat me good spoils me . but to me that is not what is all about. it is working together and love. and we are losing that. snd everytimewe talk about it stuff gets brought up that doesn’t need to be talked about. and nothing gets resolved. And i’m to the point were i can’t stand to be around him anymore. he is too much for me . he makes me feel like i’m married to a woman. and i’m about to the point i just want to tell him to leave me and find someone that is on the same page as u
and i love him but not as much as he love me . i don’t know what do anymore
no there is no one else point. but see i tried talk to my dad about it and he told my mom and i ask for advice and now it has turned into a big ordeal and now i’m the bad guy and my husband prefect.

i have been married for 12 years. i got married at 18. we have no children. so last night me and my hubby got into an argument about having kids. i had 2 miscarriages 10 years ago. we tried for kids but it didn’t work so, i went to the doctor to see if there was anything wrong with my eggs and they said i was fine and i told my husband to get checked but he refused.so last night he was watching tv and i was reading a book. all of a sudden he says " i want kids but, i know your are not fertile so never mind" so i said what do you mean and he started saying how i can’t have kids and i am preventing him from being a father, i am getting old, etc. so i said nothings wrong with me maybe something wrong with you and he jumped up and said " F*** YOU" and i said no f*** you and slammed the door and left. this wasn’t the first fight about having kids! what should i do? he hasnt said a word to me since. i am confused. i need advice. is there anything wrong with me?

Me and my wife have been married for four years. We fight every single day. We haven’t had sex for over 3 years. We don’t sleep together. I work overnight she works days.She has told me numerous times that she hates me and wish she never married me. She is always trying to change me. I smoke and I like to go out an have a couple of beers 1 night a week on one of my days off. She thinks I am going to hell. She wants me to quit but she knew how I was when were dating and she had no problem with it then. We went to counseling that didn’t work. She is very religous and I am not. I am a Christian but I am more open than she is. I have tried to get a divorce but can’t because we got a covenant marriage there are several restrictions. I have told her to leave but she wont. The house is in my name and I don’t want to leave she will let it foreclose she can’t afford it. What should I do?

I have talked to a lawyer and she doesn’t want sex. She thinks you should only have sex if you are having kids. We don’t have kids. I don’t want to have kids with her I think she is bipolar I don’t want to raise kids with her.
I don’t go to the bars we go out to eat once a week and I order beer with my dinner she goes with me
I have never once asked her to change. I am trying to make it work I don’t believe in divorce I have tried to quit smoking I can’t I think people should accept each otehr no matter what and not try and change them
We went to counseling that didn’t work its not going to get better. I hate divorce but I can’t stand living with her. As far as being a Christian everyone sins. She will only have sex if it is to have a baby she will only have sex in the missionary position she doesn’t believe in oral sex that is what I meant as being more open. I think when you aer married you should be able to ahve sex however you want as long as it is with each other and not other people.
When we were dating everything was great she had no problems I have not changed. We went to clubs and listened to bands which I like to do she seemed to enjoy it now I don’t do it because she thinks bars are evil. she ahd no problem with me having a couple of beers and smoking I explained that it is very hard to wuit and she said she understood and that she accepts me no matter what but now that we are married that has all changed

So i have been married for over 2years now. My ex who is in prison for the next 8 tears sent me a letter saying how beautiful i am and how he was a BAD boyfriend but that he is happy foe my husband and me. That he would liuke to see a pic of my kids. I keep NO secrets from my husband so I showed him the letter. Not sure if he was looking for an excuse to go out but he told me that because of this letter he needs some time to his self, he went and bought a 12 pack of beer, it is now 10 pm and i have not herd from him. Was i wrong for sharing the letter or is he no longer in love with me. Thanx!

I have posted a couple of questions regarding troubles in my marriage. (Husband refusing sex, being distant, not buying me anything for VDay or Christmas, ect). Anyway, I have communicated my needs thouroghly with my husband. I am very open and honest about how I feel. He listens to me, but never offers any input. Sometimes I feel like I am spinning my wheels. I have been with him since I was 21. (We got married when I was 23, now I am 30). I am worried that we are growing apart because I was young when we married. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations of marriage? I guess what I am asking is, has anyone ever felt like they are missing something in their marriage? And if so, what have you done to find it?
I am taking a trip in May. I will be gone for about 10 days. I do think that it will be helpful. I just hope it doesnt make me realize I am truly unhappy….
"What is wrong with me"….hmmm. Maybe its the fact that we have 4 young children, and that I am trying not to think of myself but of the family as a whole.

I’m having a problem with my wife. We’ve
been married for very close to 5 yrs now.
And when I want to spend time with her she
alway comes up with lame excuses about
not spending quality time with me.

And she has a son that’ll be 20 yrs old in July.
He quit school (not getting his HS Diploma)
about two years ago. And does nothing but
play video games; watch tv; and play music
all night long. He’s sometimes up till 5-6am,
and get’s up about 3-5 pm. He has never had
a job. He’s never even filled out an application
for employment. I have told her to throw him out;
she refuses. Should I leave I’m tired of this and
so much more?

ok, so about a month ago my husband threw me and my two kids out because he was interested in some other woman. I stayed at my moms for awhile. After being at my moms for 2 weeks he asked me to move back home and that he was sorry for what he did. He seemed sincere so i moved back in. Now that im living back home, he claimed he stopped seeing this woman. His attitude has changed somewhat, but theres still times when i feel like hes still interested in someone else. I mean thats just the way i feel but it dosent mean that my feelings are true. I really dont trust him though. Im feeling like i wanna work it out with him but i just dont know if i can. well i’ve been married for 5 years now my husband has an anger management problem he is 6 feet tall and looks like a fooball player so it is pretty intimidatingwhen he gets mad over little things even if i ask what they saying in the news he will snap but this is being growing with time he wa better before but it seems that he is always strees out about anything and everything he has an streessing job that i understand but dont take it out on me that how i feel then he blames me for everything that goes wrong in our life its just i have to much guilt all the time my best friend tell me i can live the rest of my life this way but is soooooo hard to divorce because i love him even more than my self i worry about hes feelings a lot and i know he loves me a lot so bottom line is dont know what todo cause he says hes going to change but then goes back to old wayshes done a lot a thing to me but cheating he is very lawful to me he always home when hes not working .

Ok guys, here’s my problem:
My husband and I have been married for 8 months and together for over a year and a half. My husband has a high sex drive and I have a low sex drive. So, he feels that in order for him to get the release that he needs, he visits a live-sex webcam chat room. The thing is, he tries to hide it from me, and I end up finding out what he’s been up to. I’ve told him on several occasions that this is not ok with me, and he tells me that he’s going to stop, but twice now I find that he hasn’t. We made an agreement that if I would be more open sexually, he would stop going on the website. A week had passed, and one night he was on the computer for a particularly long time, and I had a feeling of what he was doing. I checked the internet history and found that he had been on the website yet again. He promised once again that he wouldn’t go on it, and though I am trying my hardest to believe him, I’m afraid that he will go behind my back again. Any advice?

we have been together for 2.5 years. and we got married about 6 months ago. she never seems want to show me any a Attention. She works a lot and i now that puts stress on her. I try to do stuff for her to make her happy and she seam to not even care. For example i put a card and a little bear in her car. she didn`t even say anything about it. i know i`m not the best guy in the world but i`m trying. she just seems like she doesn`t want to try.
I know she doesn`t like her job and it is putting stress on both of use. i know i`m not the best husband i can be but i`m trying. it seems like everthing i do is no enough. we try doing suff all the time together but this monday is the first day off both of us have had together for about 7 months. I try talking to her and asking her if something is wrong or am i doing something wrong. and she says theres nothing wrong.
we have no kids. i know her job is a lot more work then mine. she works 45-50 hours a week as a trainer and i work 40 hours a week at a college. she works 8-??? and i work 3-11. so we don`t see that much of each other but we do talk on the phone alot and write e-mails all day,.

i’m a muslim and i had sort of an arranged marriage because my family is strict and very cultural, its been about two years now that i am maried,the guy is from pakistan. Its been nearly a year since he’s cum to UK. At first he was such a sweet guy,he was so kind to me.BUT now evrything has changd,he is very bossy, he wants me to do everything his way, he doesnt want me to work but stay at home and be a housewife. Ive always been the independant type who likes to do things for my self. He says very nasty things to me and is very violent. Ive spoken to my parents but they are not understanding. I thought i had found the right guy, but he is really changed, he has a bad temper all the time. here is the thing i love my hubby more than anything i know that we were meant to be together, but we cannot get along at all, we did for the first year or so, but now we cant even hardly talk to one another with-out making each-other mad. the first year was like magic, but now its like we r always at each others throats. its a daily thing with us, but at night after the kids r in bed, we lay down down and cuddle and all of r problems seem to go away, until the next day when we get up and then its back to argueing. what should i do, i have thought about leaving him, but we still love each-other very much. he is always showing me how much he loves me, i am very confused. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
