They go every other wknd and when they come home I almost have to de-brief them. He shares all kinds of inappropriate things about our marriage and lies about me! He has lost a petition for mod of child support, tryed and failed to get a restraining order on me, now he reporting things to the police. just because he doesnt like that he has no control over me anymore, and only gets to have his kids 4 days a month. I have been advised to do nothing, just document everything, which I already do, and that there really isnt much that can be done about "emotional" abuse..ugh. I am just scared that CPS is going to show up at my door because of a false accusation made by the non-custodial parent and his gf..they have lied a few times and they will most likely do it again..

I don’t understand why YOU can’t take out a Restraining Order on him?! With ALL the problems he has caused you in & out of court, why can you not get an "Order" taken out against him & he would not be able to go anywhere near you or the children. Is there someway/anyway you could find out about this & see what you could do on your end of things to get him out of your life period?! Could you contact your local Family Court, tell them the situation & see IF they can come up with some suggestions for you. It’s sure worth a try, at this point in time, what do you have to loose. Possibly take it out for the sake of the children & state they are so totally confused after their periods of time spent with he & his girlfriend that it’s doing more harm than good…the best to you, honey…:)
You need to do the right thing by your children and in doing so then in time they will come to understand the emotional abuse they have suffer and you also. In time they will see which parent is the one telling the lies. Don’t ever run your ex down in front of your children. Just say I don’t think that is right. It will be extremely hard for you as they grow up for they will be confused but hopeful in the end they will see which parent was truthful to them and can be trusted and will therefore want to share their lives with that parent.
Time to get full custody of your children and cut that bastard out of your life! I guarantee that will be so much better in the long run.
I am a victim (was a child) of the same thing. My mother divorced my sperm donor, got a restraining order against him, met a new man and that new man adopted me! He is the best father ever! I have no regrets of not getting to know my sperm donor…I’ve talked to him a few times, and he is such a loser…I’m glad he isn’t in my life.
If you’re too afraid to do all that cray cray stuff, just continue to do what you have been told to do.

not much you can do, eventually the child protective people will realize he is a liar. just keep doing what they tell you to do and if your afraid of them or they threaten you can be granted a restraining order. if there is nothing to hide i would not be afraid of cps.

Next time don’t get married; This control freak will make your life a living hell so do as you were advised to do (hope he doesnt screw your kids up). If there comes a point in time that he takes you back to court get a lawyer and have all your ducks in a row. I wish you the best under the circumstances.
