Why can’t we as adults have sexual relations with whomever we want? I want to say that animals and children are not allowed because they cannot give consent to sexual relations.
But if one wants to have sex with a relative or marry 6 wives then why the heck not?

Yeah, I do that too. Only I’ve always been a little skeptical about that whole "can’t consent" thing too.
People saying it will cause incest or polygamy are just against gay marriage. They will say anything to stop gay marriage. Just like the anti smoking ads on tv saying if you take a puff you will die, or the anti drug ads saying weed will cause you to kill or steal from others. It is all BS. I agree with what you are saying. Personally, children, relatives, animals do nothing for me sexually. They are never in my thoughts sexually and will never be. No desires there. I will stick with men and only men that are not related.
I dont particularly like the idea of incest, especially close, like brother and sister close. Cousins I’m more lenient. If it were legal, and both parties were consenting, I’d say "what the hell as long as they dont try to make their own kids" You know, kids that come from incest usually have bad problems, especially if it’s really close. Thats part the reason why the Egyptian Pharaohs line died out, because of all the inter mating.
As far as polygamy…agian, if both parties are consenting, sure what the heck. Though I wouldn’t be caught dead doing any of these things. And currently I disagree with both things.

In fact, first-cousin marriage is legal in about 1/3 of the states already, and polygamy we have to accept under international law if it is contracted abroad. plus, as a harvard law professor has pointed out, the supreme court decision which allowed the state governments to ban polygamy was openly racist and expressed prejudice against nonchristian religions. there is simply no way it would be possible today, so the supreme court has adopted the policy of simply refusing to hear polygamy cases, so they can avoid making a ruling. there is no religion and no culture that advocates gay marriage in the form in which it is advocated in this and other western countries (although many cultures allow concubinage and some allow marriage where one of the male partners adopts a female role in society, or where one of the female partners has a male or male-like role), whereas first-cousin marriage is common in many cultures and religions (islam, judaism, southern india) and polygamy was recognized by most human societies before christian westerners imposed their rules on most of the world (e.g. on jews, on china, india, and even some muslim countries). so it should really be the other way around: gay marriage should come last in the list of those to be accepted, not first.
I can’t argue against poligamy but with brother and sister they CAN reproduce, and mentally retarded babies will be flying out everywhere. Even though there are s big number of them already. Idk that’s just my input on it
I say that you should be able to marry any consenting individual which means any individual over the age of 18. I find that with polygamy there is a social disproportionment which could have adverse effects on those involved in the relationship so I don’t currently agree with polygamous marriage.
Actually I do say no problem. Whatever consenting adults do is fine with me. If a brother and sister want to hook up I don’t care, as long as no offspring are conceived.
Well honestly I do. I really see no problem with consensual incest or polygamy as long as the people involved are happy. Love is love.
